As the Human Resources Coordinator, you will work with the HR Manager to support the business, ensuring an effective and professional HR service is delivered.

What your day will look like?

Working with the HR Manager and leadership team across multiple business units, no day is ever the same. With an aim to create consistent and efficient HR operations, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide input into processes and systems within the overall HR admin function
  • Coordinate onboarding functions including preparation of employment agreements, updating position descriptions and induction processes
  • Set up and coordinate all recruitment job openings across multiple media platforms
  • Remain up to date with employment, Health & Safety, and immigration legislation
  • Coordinate the allocation of staff accommodation and provision of tenancy agreements
  • Ensuring all personnel records, staff databases and HR information systems are maintained
  • Promote and support the company Health & Safety and wellbeing programs
  • Collation of payroll data for the Payroll Team

Who are we looking for?

As part of a small HR, safety, and tenancy team, potentially a strong HR administrator looking to develop into a coordinator role, or an experienced coordinator looking to expand their generalist HR experience. You will relish challenge and diversity in your day, focussing on building relationships with all staff, assisting them to get the most out of their experience at Aoraki Mt Cook.

You'll bring with you:

  • Relevant experience in a Human Resource administrator or coordinator role
  • Experience of working in the health, safety and wellbeing space  
  • Understanding of NZ employment and health and safety legislation
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to operate with integrity and discretion
  • The flexibility to be hands-on and respond quickly and positively to a range of work situations
