Northern Southland Transport is part of Trojan Holdings Ltd, which is a family owned and operated business. We have extensive interests in transport, tourism and commercial property throughout Central Otago and Southland.

We have an opportunity for a rural dispatcher to join our team in Te Anau. This role will involve the dispatching our trucks in Te Anau as well as working in collaboration with our other branches to ensure the product gets to its destination in a timely and efficient manner.

To be successful in this role you will need to have:

  • Strong health and safety attitude
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • Flexibility with working hours in the season (including weekends)
  • Exceptional communication and computer skills
  • Experience in dealing with customers
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Class 2 licence. (Dangerous Goods certificate and forklift licence preferable)

The successful applicant will be required to pass a pre-employment alcohol and drug test, as part of our company policy.
